Summer 2019 GCSE and GCE Certificates Update

All summer 2019 certificates are now available for collection.

Students who have left the Academy should report to A Block Reception. You will be asked to check, and sign for, your certificates before leaving with them. If you are sending somebody to collect the certificates on your behalf, please make sure they bring written permission from you to do so. Certificates will be held at the Academy for one year and we recommend that they are collected as soon as possible.

During term time, A Block Reception is open from 7.30am - 4.00pm, Monday to Thursday, and from 7.30am – 3.30pm on Fridays. If you are planning to collect your certificates over the Christmas holidays, we will be open from 8.00am – 3.30pm on Thursday 2nd January, and from 8.00am to 3.00pm on Friday 3rd January. From Monday 6th January, A Block Reception will be open from 7.30am - 4.00pm, Monday to Friday.

If you are currently in Year 12 at the Academy, your certificates are available for collection from Mrs Spencer’s office in the 6th Form Centre. You will be asked to check, and sign for, your certificates before leaving with them.

If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Schoolwear Solutions

Raaj Flyer

As you may have seen, Schoolwear Solutions, our uniform supplier, have had their building up for rent. The store in Mapperley has now closed, and from Monday 23rd September customers are able to visit their temporary premises at Morleys Schoolwear, 116-118 Bramcote Avenue, Chilwell, Nottingham NG9 4DR. Once they have a new superstore we will let you know.

Schoolwear Solutions will continue to be our uniform supplier and are now offering you a tailor made service with door to door delivery and payment, along with a direct number for Raaj Takhar.

Raaj is our Account Manager and she will be able to get you anything you need and drop it at your door. Alternatively, parents and students may visit our pop up shop which is held every Tuesday, in A Block Reception, straight after school until 4:00pm.

Calling all former students

If you’re a former student of Arnold Hill Academy, we want to hear from you!

Your experiences since leaving could help to motivate and inspire our current students to feel more confident in making decisions about their future. We’d love you to join our alumni network and stay connected with the school.

We’ve partnered with the national education charity Future First, who specialise in helping schools like ours to stay connected with their former students.

You can choose how and when you help – perhaps you can act as a career and education role model, provide work experience, become a mentor in person or online, or help with donations, fundraising or even apply to become a governor.

At Arnold Hill, we want to build an Alumni to support our current students and show them all the options open to them. It’s also great for us to hear what you have been doing. It doesn’t matter when you left us, whether you’re in further education or employment, whether you still live nearby or have moved further away, there are still ways you can help.

In order to sign up, just follow this link and fill in the online form – we promise it will only take a couple of minutes.
